Food Plots

As you will quickly notice from the pictures below, many hours are spent on the research, planning, and development of multiple food plots. Throughout the growing season, many management techniques are applied to best fit the needs of each plot. From mowing invasive grasses to spraying herbicide, maximum effort is put towards the upkeep of these food sources. We have food plots ranging from 1/4 acre to 5 acres in size. The plots are a mixture of clover, chicory, alfalfa, corn, wheat, and soybean and are strategically located to provide the best opportunity to harvest your trophy. Also, there are multiple mineral licks established throughout the hunting grounds to provide additional attractors for our deer herd. This plot and mineral combination is critical for two important reasons: holding deer on our property and providing optimal hunting opportunities and it works.
